Health Care Power of Attorney

What is a Health Care Power of Attorney?

A Health Care Power of Attorney is similar to a General Durable Power of Attorney, but instead allows an individual (an “Agent”) to act on behalf of another individual (a “Principal”) in matters related to the Principal’s health and well-being when the Principal’s disability or incapacity prevents the Principal from making the decision on his or her own.
